Fuji Faldic

Fuji Faldic is a range of AC servo drives used by Komori, among others, to run the more efficient permanent magnet type three phase motors. These motors are less than half the size and weight of a conventional motor.
Paramount has developed simulation techniques, which permit the exercise of FALDIC-Alpha Servo Systems in its sophisticated electronic repair facilities in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire in the UK.
Service Exchange is available for the FALDIC-Alpha Servo Systems.

Komori Eyekom 3A

The Eyekom is in use in Komori print installations around the world.

The purpose of the Eyekom unit is to detect sheets fed into the feeder of a sheet-offset printing press and automatically act during impression as well as acting on the impression-off. Should sheets be improperly fed, or if double sheets are fed, the Eyekom unit stops the feeder. When sheets are improperly fed to the side lay, the Eyekom unit activates an alarm.
Paper position is detected using a number of sensors, using a light source transmitter and a photo transistor receiver, whereby paper is detected as it travels between the source and receiver. In addition, there is a proximity sensor used to count the number of sheets being printed.
Paramount has developed simulation techniques, which permit full functional testing and operation of the Eyekom - 3A.

Swift Drive E Series

The Swift Drive also is known as QUANTUM QUIET DRIVE is a recent range of Lift drives by ThyssenKrupp Elevator.
The drive is used to power the main motor of the lift car, to transport people smoothly, accelerating and decelerating between floors.
Paramount Electronics Ltd was recently called upon to provide repair support for a series of Swift Drive E Series drives, which had been poorly maintained, risking the integrity of the lift installation in which they were fitted.
The drives are fitted with intelligent power modules which are both expensive and hard to obtain. We have developed test techniques that permit us to validate the functioning of these modules including determining any signal failures.
